Cream Tea Magic Mixies – Magical Mist and Spells Refill Pack for Magic Cauldron
This refill pack is a strong choice for kids who love experimenting with different spells. It includes a variety of ingredients like Pixie Dust and Rainbow Drops, which encourage imaginative storytelling. It stands out for its multiple components—dissolvable papers, moldable fizz, and crystals—that can be used over 20 times for mist reveals and spell creation. Compared with simpler refills, it offers more variety, but it’s limited to use with the Magic Cauldron, which must be purchased separately. Some parts may be small and tricky for very young children, and the pack’s focus on specific spells can limit flexibility.
Pros:- Encourages imaginative, multi-faceted play
- Includes enough ingredients for numerous spell reveals
- Compatible with Magic Mixies Magic Cauldron
- Variety of components enhances creative storytelling
Cons:- Requires the Magic Cauldron (sold separately)
- Limited to specific included spells
- Some small parts may pose a choking hazard for very young children
Best for: Children who enjoy crafting different spells and exploring a range of magical effects.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a simple, quick mist solution or those without the Magic Cauldron.

Magic Mixies Magical Mist Refill Pack for Magic Genie Lamp
This refill provides enough mist for over 80 magical moments, making it perfect for children who want long-lasting effects during play. It’s straightforward to use—simply squeeze the vials to create mist, which is safe and compatible with the Magic Mixies Genie Lamp. The inclusion of two vials means kids can enjoy continuous magic without frequent repurchases. However, it’s limited to use with the Genie Lamp, so if your child has other Magic Mixies sets, this refill won’t be as versatile. It’s an excellent choice for straightforward misting but offers less variety beyond mist effects.
Pros:- Provides over 80 misting moments for extended play
- Easy-to-use with simple squeeze application
- Safe and compatible with Magic Mixies Genie Lamp
- Includes two refill vials for continuous magic
Cons:- Limited to Genie Lamp compatibility
- Requires purchasing additional refills for ongoing use
- No other spell components included
Best for: Kids who love long-lasting mist effects and simple, repetitive magic moments.
Not ideal for: Families looking for a broader spell experience or those with different Magic Mixies sets.
- Brand:Magic Mixies
- Item Type:Toys and Games
- Included Components:2 Bottles (Vials), Instruction Manual, Vegetable Glycerin
- Model Number:14839

Our verdict“This refill is best for children who want a simple, long-lasting misting experience and already own the Genie Lamp, but it offers limited versatility for other sets.”
Magic Mixies Magical Mist Refill Pack
This refill offers enough mist for over 80 moments, with two vials compatible with both the Magic Mixies Crystal Ball and Cauldron. It’s a straightforward, safe way to extend the magic effects across different sets, making it a flexible choice for owners of multiple Magic Mixies toys. The main advantage is its broad compatibility, but it only supplies mist—no additional spell components or effects are included. This makes it less versatile for children who want a full spell experience beyond misting.
Pros:- Provides enough mist for many play sessions
- Includes 2 easy-to-use vials
- Compatible with both Crystal Ball and Cauldron
- Simple to use and safe
Cons:- Requires Magic Mixies Crystal Ball and Cauldron (sold separately)
- Refill only—no additional spell components
- Limited to misting effects
Best for: Owners of multiple Magic Mixies sets who want a reliable misting refill without extra components.
Not ideal for: Children seeking a comprehensive spell kit or those without the compatible toys.
- Number of Vials:2
- Compatibility:Magic Mixies Crystal Ball and Cauldron
- Uses:Over 80 misting moments
Our verdict“Ideal for children who own multiple Magic Mixies items and want a reliable, straightforward misting refill, but it lacks additional spell options or components.”
How We Picked
My selection process focused on compatibility with popular Magic Mixies sets, the amount of mist produced, and the variety of included components. I considered the ease of use, safety features, and how each refill complements different play styles. To ensure a balanced view, I evaluated the tradeoffs—such as whether a refill needs an additional purchase or if it offers enough mist for prolonged magic moments. The goal was to identify options that serve different user priorities: versatility, longevity, or straightforward compatibility.
Factors to Consider When Choosing Magic Mixies Refill Pack
When choosing a Magic Mixies refill pack, it’s important to consider what kind of magic play your child enjoys most. Do they prefer a variety of spell components, long-lasting mist effects, or compatibility with multiple sets? The right refill can enhance their experience, but it depends on their specific interests and the sets you already own. Here are some key factors to help you decide.
Compatibility with Sets
Most refill packs are designed for specific Magic Mixies products. If your child owns the Magic Cauldron, the Crystal Ball, or the Genie Lamp, choose a refill that matches those sets. Compatibility ensures the components work seamlessly and the magic feels authentic. Always verify which sets a refill is compatible with before making a purchase.
Type of Magic Effects
Refill packs vary in the effects they offer. Some focus solely on misting, like the Magic Mixies Mist Refill Pack, which provides over 80 misting moments. Others, like the Cream Tea pack, include ingredients to create multiple spells with different components. Consider whether your child prefers simple, consistent mist effects or a broader variety of spell-crafting options.
Quantity and Longevity
Think about how long your child will want to enjoy their magic. The Genie Lamp refill offers over 80 misting moments, perfect for extended play sessions. Smaller or less comprehensive refills may need to be replaced more frequently. Balancing cost and playtime duration will help you pick the best option.
Additional Components
Some refills include a variety of ingredients and spell components, encouraging creative storytelling. Others focus solely on mist. If your child loves experimenting with different spells, opt for a refill that offers multiple ingredients and components. However, if they mainly enjoy the mist effects, a simpler refill may suffice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Magic Mixies refill packs safe for children?
Yes, all Magic Mixies refill packs are designed with safety in mind. They use child-safe ingredients and are straightforward to use, often requiring simple squeezing or pouring. However, always supervise younger children during play to prevent accidental ingestion or misuse of small parts.
Can I use these refills with any Magic Mixies set?
No, each refill is usually made for specific sets. For example, the mist refills are compatible with either the Genie Lamp or the Crystal Ball, but not both. Check the product description carefully to ensure compatibility with your child’s existing toys.
How long does a refill last?
The longevity depends on the type of refill. The mist refills generally offer over 80 misting moments, enough for multiple play sessions. The Cream Tea pack provides enough ingredients for numerous spell reveals. Consider your child’s frequency of play when selecting a refill to ensure it lasts as long as needed.
Do refills include all necessary components?
Most refill packs include only the components needed to refill the magic effects—such as mist vials or spell ingredients. They do not include the Magic Mixies toy itself. Ensure you already own the base set before purchasing a refill to get the full experience.
Are these refills reusable?
Yes, many refills, especially the mist vials, are designed to be used multiple times. Simply replace the mist or ingredients when they run out. However, some components like dissolvable papers or molded fizz are single-use, so plan accordingly.
Conclusion
For parents who want a versatile set of spell components to inspire creative storytelling, the Cream Tea Magic Mixies refill makes the most sense. Families seeking extended mist effects will find the Genie Lamp refill to be the best fit, especially if their child enjoys simple, repetitive magic moments. Meanwhile, owners of multiple Magic Mixies toys will appreciate the broad compatibility of the third refill, which works with both the Crystal Ball and Cauldron. Ultimately, your choice hinges on whether you prioritize variety, longevity, or compatibility for your child’s magical adventures.
